For eight years he was working then as an apprentice to a dutch artist Jacob Tuyn. He left his town, his family and Jacob to pursue his potential artistic preference.In 1988, he developed epoxy as his new medium and later became his identity. Lamberto Acyatan, was born in Paete, Laguna, at age 3, he learned to sing and draw, made painting and sculpture at the age of 12.,and learned his arts by studying the works of the old masters at the age of 17. He also love to read book, do poetry and play music. He is now a resident artist of Eden Nature Park in Davao City. He found his happiness in creating Mandala.
